The fourth quarter of 2024 saw varied performance among the top news and magazines apps in Chile. Data from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing trends in downloads, revenue, and active user numbers across these platforms.

X (Formerly Twitter) experienced a notable peak in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $11.2K at the end of November. Download numbers began at 20.6K, dropping to 12.5K in November but rebounded to over 19K by late December. Active users slightly fluctuated, starting at 2.6M and closing the quarter at about 2.5M.

Noticias Locales had a more modest download trajectory, beginning the quarter with 2.2K and ending with 675. Active users for the app were recorded at 36.2K in the final week of December.

Noticias Telemundo saw a significant spike in downloads in mid-November, reaching over 10K, before settling back to double digits by the end of the year. Active users peaked at 6.3K during the same period before stabilizing around 2.4K.

Chile News showed varied download numbers, with a notable increase to 3.8K in mid-November. However, no significant active user data was available for this app.

Finally, Fox News International began the quarter with downloads exceeding 4K, which drastically declined to negligible numbers by December. Active users decreased from around 2.7K at the start to 475 by the year's end.
